About Us

We are a small family farm located in Tipton and Ridgeway, Michigan, dedicated to providing local food to our community. AJ Ries Farms began in 2021 with the purchase of 10 beef cattle, and has since expanded to include egg-laying chickens and ducks, and beehives. This growth has been further driven by the partnership between Andrew Ries and Lydia Lopez. This partnership has led to the creation of the Ridgeway farm market. At this market, we sell vegetables grown on our farm in Ridgeway (formally Lopez Produce), along with our tallow, egg, and honey products from Tipton. Today, AJ Ries Farms is a trusted source for local produce and goods.
